As an artist living in Melbourne, I draw inspiration for my work from the built heritage around me. I find beauty in the juxtaposition of urban decay and ornate Victorian architecture. My work incorporates elements of pattern and texture with a strong graphic focus. Thematically I am interested in exploring the notion of experiential inheritance and contemporary interpretations of the past.
